Our staff making a difference
At the Allergy and Asthma Care Center we believe in caring for others, and not just those whom we see in our practice. Our physicians and staff demonstrate this commitment by contributing time and finances to others in our community, in other states and internationally.
Dr. Nish has served as a medical missionary to the provinces of Punjab and Orissa in India in 2007 and 2008, respectively and in May of 2009 in the Amazon Jungle of Peru. Click on the link below to view a video with pictures of that trip.

Dr. Nish has also provided community asthma screenings over the past decade to help identify those who are not aware they have asthma. Asthma is estimated to affect up to 7% of the U.S. population and up to 10% of children. Asthma symptoms include shortness of breath, wheeze, cough and chest tightness. Asthma can significantly affect quality of life, limiting sleep and activity and causing work and school loss when not well-controlled.
